2016 42 Metal Shark 42 Fearless “Pretty Work”.

Metal Shark, LLC is a leading supplier of welded aluminum boats for commercial, defense, and law enforcement applications worldwide. The company traces its origins to 1983, when Jeanerette, Louisiana-based Gravois Aluminum Boats began producing custom-welded aluminum fishing boats for recreational anglers and commercial fishermen. Over the years, the Gravois family developed a loyal following among demanding Gulf Coast fishermen due to the rugged quality of their boats, which were often highly customized to suit the buyer’s needs.

The Gravois family has been building rugged, fully custom-welded aluminum fishing boats for Gulf Coast anglers since 1983. Metal Shark has an offshore line of boats built for hardcore tournament anglers, weekend warriors, and family fishermen. The Metal Shark Fearless series was originally designed for military and law enforcement applications where extreme high-performance capabilities were required during tactical operations. Agile and maneuverable, yet tough enough to withstand harsh environments, the 42’ Fearless is among the long line of fishing boats custom-designed and built in the Gravois family tradition. Like all Gravois boats, the 42 Fearless is built to last. The hull is made using heavy plates of military-grade 5086 aluminum alloy that have been digitally cut, expertly welded, and flawlessly crafted to create sleek lines that rival those of the finest fiberglass boats on the water.

Owners of Metal Shark and Gravois boats tend to call them “lifetime hulls” and with good reason. Invest in a Metal Shark and say goodbye to gelcoat issues, stringer and transom worries, and other issues associated with fiberglass boats. Not only have the legendary Gravois construction methods been proven through decades of use and abuse by demanding anglers along the Gulf Coast, but Metal Sharks are in service with the U.S. Navy, Army, Coast Guard, and Air Force worldwide and offer proven dependability. With the 42 Fearless, you’ll spend more time fishing – and less time fussing over your boat.
